  • Term baby presents on 2nd day of life with a distal bowel obstruction. 
  • Normal anus. 
  • Digital examination encounters resistance above the anal canal. 
  • Insertion of a 6-mm Hegar is followed by meconium passage. 
  • Plain film and enema are shown below.
