1. Case Presentation

  • A baby girl with a prenatal diagnosis of omphalocele (omphalocele diameter/ abdominal circumference = 0.26) is born by C-section at 39 weeks. 
  • 24 hours after birth, she is on room air, has a normal cardiac echo, and no other obvious anomalies. 
  • The sac contains liver and intestines.
