1. Case Scenario

  • 18 months post successful Kasai performed at 67 days of age, a child develops recurrent cholangitis that responds well to antibiotics.
  • Bilirubin is normal between episodes, but they recur every few weeks.
  • Ultrasound, magnetic resonance cholangio pancreatogram (MRCP), and percutaneous cholangiogram are shown below.
