1. Case Scenario

  • Term baby girl presents with a neonatal bowel obstruction soon after birth.
  • Dilated, echogenic bowel was seen on US at 32 wks gestation.
  • Both parents are CF gene carriers.
  • On contrast enema, no attempt was made to reflux into the distended bowel.
