1. Case Presentation

  • A 3-day-old boy born at 28 wks develops mild abdominal distention. 
  • Passed several meconiums. 
  • No signs of NEC. 
  • Abdomen soft, slightly distended. 
  • Films (below) show a single fixed loop. 
  • Contrast enema (below) shows a normal colon with persistence of the loop post contrast.
