1. Case Scenario

  • Your patient, 35-wk gest, 1-d old baby girl, presents with bilious emesis.
  • Abdomen is soft, but not distended. Films and contrast enema shown below.
  • At exploration, you find Type IIIA jejunal atresia with 15 cm of jejunum (3 cm diameter) and 4 cm of ileum.
